So What
is Your preference...#1- Artificial or #2- NATURAL baits? My mindset goes for Number One...obviously, we ALL have opinions/choices in ALL aspects of Life!(eg.- COORS vs. PBR):twocents:ThumbsUp Yep- Already know...live-baiting for Crappie is legal!rotfl
Could you imagine the B.A.S.S. -type tournament circuit weights if GOLDEN SHINERS were legal??:yikesnonono
Please stay tuned for my follow-up POLLS... What came 1st? The chicken or the Egg? - How are SEEDLESS Fruits(Grapes, Melons etc.) cultivated? -How do you put on your pants? Left or Right leg 1st? I already know this answer too = BOTH at the same time!:Rofl Also know that Caitlin prefers dresses now...rotfl

My preference is artificial baits. Just always have used artificial unless bluegill fishing when I use a worm. Love the challenge and not having to mess with live bait.
-
I like using both on my boat. Always pays to have as complete an arsenal possible with my sub par catch rates. :Rofl

I use both, depends on the time of the year. Prefer live bait during the cooler months, jigs/crankbaits during the warmer summer.

What are the odds??
Not even an hour later, after the posting the question "What came 1st , the Chicken or the Egg"? this happens.:scratchhead While parking after launching...an expert appears that could EASILY answer this proverbial question!Attachment 455919
He obviously recognizes me or the paint job, so he walks to within 3 FEET of me! I tried not to show my startled amazement and scare him away before I could ask him about the chick vs. egg debate. Well, in a very low, controlled voice I asked him. His response = Buck, Buck! Not to be deterred, I asked more slowly the second time = Buck, Buck, Buck! Frustrated, the fish were now calling my name, I reached the following conclusion =
Obviously, this guy was- Struttin' his STUFF, and I realized he was money-hungry and would only give me the answer for FIVE BUCKS!!:Rofl:banghead Our relationship, although short, is OVER!! he's way too COCKY!!
On a more positive note, my next post will give you the trip's Rest of the STORY!:fish

I enjoy both. I would say we all started out with live bait when we were children. The cricket or the humble wiggle worm

#1 is plastic to find the color de jour. then on to #2 which is the more durable hand ties. Live bait is rare in my boat but has been known to happen, usually when guests/visitors involved.

I prefer minners on cold rainy days and night fishing with my crappie lights when the winds have laid down. Beautiful spring mornings are perfect for long lining my favorite jigs and crankbaits. I love to take kids fishing and watch the excitement when a bobber is pulled under. My preference is casting to structure with a jig and curly tail covered in slab sauce. Something about feeling the thump after threading the needle on a cast is hard to beat. Tight Lines.

I'm lazy, don't like getting, and keeping, and using minners. I like hair jigs like the bunny butt with slabsauce. Easy peasy.
