Shoplifting
Just watched several different stores being shoplifted. The jist was the shoplifters we’re kids in gangs so if you tried to stop them and prosecute they would never get to court and you subjected yourself to probable retaliation by the gang. It is sad that 1 you can’t protect yourself from getting stolen from and 2you can’t protect yourself from being retaliated against. I know this won’t be popular at least out loud but I personally think stopping them by any means necessary should be allowed. These kids weren’t taking a pack of gum or stuffing something in their pocket they had arm loads of clothes boots and jewelry. It wasn’t hard to tell what they were doing. Just an opinion from a 71 year old that was taught better.

Watched a man push a buggy full of groceries out the door. The store employees said they were not allowed to stop them. Certainly is a shame

watched an adult in Lowes push a Dewalt Miter Saw just out the door and keep walking when the alarms went off.
I know that store employees are typically not allowed do to anything as the company would rather loose couple hundred dollars then have an employee get hurt or worse because of some crazy person.
Wild world we live in...

I saw a fella push a buggy of groceries out of the store in the Mid 90's. The cashier chased after him. Two gentlemen grabbed the buggy and the guy took off running. Certainly were different times just that many years ago

I would get hurt I guess because to do nothing is to say the men lost in the military died in vain . I wrote a rather lengthy response to this tread and had to erase because it led to political issues and feeling of regret for lives lost in wars . Those lives now seem to not matter as we give back our country to the Thugs/ countries who disrespect lives and country .

Sad to say it seems that someone, somewhere thinks the bill of rights says, you shall not refrain someone from taking stuff or breaking laws. :dono
As a child my dad took my brother and I around to our neighbors. Told the neighbors that if they see us doing anything wrong to spank us. Then when he gets home, he will spank us again. Kinda made an impression on me. I had a great Dad. Each of us can only teach our children and be an example to others in our own lives. People let fear stop them from doing right.
I pray for us humans, all.

This country was founded for freedom of religion and of speech and from tyranny and persecution. But it has made this circle before and we coming back around to a point of fight or flight. You had the Rockerfellers the Fords the Vanderbilt’s and the like that ruled and ran the country politically then it was the mob that ran parts of it with bullying and force and now in parts it’s gangs and the left and big government. It’s all the same now.

Sadly the criminals have more rights than you do.

Most of our criminals feareth not, and the lawyers have done this to us. How does a judge pronounce a guilt finding upon a career criminal with 32 previous felony convictions, and then offer him six months in jail ?
My workplace was robbed last weekend. I spent everyday this week trying to get a cop to come and make a report. Burglary of a business has become little potatoes around here. No one ever responded.
Criminals are told by their personal dope dealers to target Lowes. That once clear of the doors, they are home free. The cops ain’t coming for them. Man walking down the sidewalk with a box containing a large chop saw is unworthy of the time and effort spent to process him. The judge gonna tell him- next time run faster- and out the door he goes. So cops just don't care. Society likes us to live like this. People actually vote to live like this.
Now that I am losing my Spring Chicken status, it may be time to start to conceal a little friend.
