I did on my 05 Silverado. Was running fine with no dash lights on for anything. I only lightly sprayed with low pressure the firewall away from the insulation pad to the fenders. Next time I drove it, check engine light came on and code reads knock sensor. Go figure….
I was going to say proceed with caution pwing any engine compartment. Too many electronics and computer stuff anymore.
The electronics should all be potted ( sealed to not allow water to get to them) but the wire connectors not so much
The connectors are sealed, but water at 3000psi will get past them.
Best thing to do hit it with a degreaser and then gently hose it off with a garden hose. Once you're done take it for a drive to steam off the residual water.
Thanks guys, I wound up being cautious and wiping it down with a degreaser sprayed on a shop towel and then hit it with a light spray/mist
from the garden hose.

The distributors tend to get wet inside easily on these,,,pop the cap and look inside for any water or traces of moisture,,,not sure if yours has the same if any distributor ,,,
