Going to be bank fishing truman the next few days with the warmer weather I hope the crappie move back to the banks. If so will they be at the old shoreline or the new? Any info or advice would be hopeful. Thinking about fishing the area around Windsor crossing and cooper creek. I’m not looking for anyones G-14 classified secret spot just a little info on how deep they are. Thanks
My guess is start on the banks, the more shallow gravel looking banks not the real steep ones and if no bites just move off a bit. Good Luck!
I have heard the gravel pit by sparrow foot has been catching.
Thanks guys… I was just wondering if I was wasting my time if they were 50ft off the bank and in 20ft of water.
If you can locate some lay downs that are accessible that is where I would start.

When they are spawning I like to use small bobber an 6 inches of like and 16th jig to foot or so off bank an have parrellell slow retrieve stopping and popping occasionally. Caught a quick limit today doing that. Then toss 5 or 6 foot off and have 2 foot of line till u find them.Quote:

There is a brush pile on the northeast side of the bridge at Windsor Crossing. How many of you are in your group? I might take my boat out tomorrow morning and I have an empty seat. Really depends on how much mowing I get done tonight.
