High temps the last week has definetly helped. Big gils are on the beds at 3 ponds and 2 small lakes that I have fished. Catch/release for now but soon we will have a fish fry with some of the mid-size ones. Leave the big ones to breed. Fly rods/ultra light reels, wax worms is the way to go right now. Used upcoming birthday as a reason to buy 4-5 dozen new jigs and even got some new hi-vis 6lb spools of line. Fishing as a hobby isn't cheap but it sure is fun!
