Well....That drove 'em out

I registered 2.5 inches of rain, in Lenexa, yesterday. Tried Douglas County lake this morning from the bank. I'm glad I didn't bring my boat. Looking at the Douglas rain totals, they looked to have received around 3/4 of an inch. Enough to drive the crappie off the banks and out to deeper water. I doubt the North wind helped things

It's supposed to be sunny, with no rain, for a few days. Maybe the crappie will come back to the banks. I think Sunday, I may head to Lacygne. The fishing reports, from last week, indicated they were on the banks in the middle of spawning. With a couple warm days maybe they'll be back
