Rubberized coating for Alum boat.

I have an aluminum flat bottom Sea Ark boat and it is painted olive green. Sitting on the bench seat is so hot you can't stand it. I was thinking about painting it with some kind of white or light color rubberized coating. Thought maybe it would cool it down and maybe even quieten it down. I talked to a guide one time that got spray-in bed liner on the inside of his boat and really liked it. I have carpet down on the floor and just want the inside sides and bench seats coated. Have any of you ever used something like this and if so where did you get it. I would prefer to roll it on if possible. Any help will be appreciated.

I'd be mindful of anything too bright and shiney. Would hate to have my boat reflecting back at me worse than the water.

Yeah, you are probably right about that. The only one I saw was white and it was pretty bright. Maybe a light gray or light green would do better. I just thought the white would be cooler. I have seats but sometimes I move around and sit on the live well or back bench seat. Getting tender in these "golden years"

Hydroturf is a good option but not cheap.

My Xpress has a khaki/Desert tan colored rubberized coating. It's factory, but I need to get some myself and fix a few spots up around the bow. It still gets pretty warm when the sun is out, but it's not burning hot. It's pretty sound dead in the bottom, but still pretty loud if you drop something on the hollow front deck.

Daddy's Ranger came from the factory with some kind of rubber coating both inside and out. I've been surprised by how cool it remains even on bright summer days. It's a dark camo pattern which you would think would be hot. It's almost as quite as carpet, too. I like it.

I have a 2072 G3 the interior was sprayed rhino liner in kind of a khaki color. I absolutley love it. Besides making the floor cooler in the sun it greatly reduced the noise and vibration while riding. I would say its definitely worth the investment. There are youtube videos of people using the product Raptor Liner to spray the interior of their boats. It is suppose to be a quality product from the reviews.
