2 more weeks till we head south and the wait is excruciating! What is becoming an annual trip for my father and I to Istokpoga is almost upon us and the anticipation for warm weather and days on end of fishing has me sleepless! Hope we hit it right this year.

Hope you find and catch a bunch! Six weeks before the wife and I head to Sarasota for an overdue vacation. Probably won't do much fishing, unfortunately, but should get some much needed exercise on our bicycles. Can't ride much up here in the "Lake effect" snow zone this time of year. If you are anywhere close to my age, the time will pass pretty fast!
I'm headed south a week from tomorrow. I know the feeling!!!

My biggest hopes is that your trips meet your expectations. I have made preparations for a long time and had things change and fall apart,so I know the disappointment that is a real possibility. I too am hoping that you find the fish you’re after and have a trip with memories that will make you smile for many years to come. Holler how it’s working out when y’all get here.

This is my last night working before vacation and heading south! Mom and Dad haven't been tearing them up but they are getting a few and have already caught 3 over 2#.
