Small Jigs
Tried a few member sponsors (posted in that forum), Tommy Crenshaw, Garrett Outdoors, so far no luck. Who makes an unpainted barbed collar ball jig with bronze hook in a 1/80 oz size with a #8 hook, and a 1/80, #6 hook? I want 200 of each, so 400 total. You can PM me if you like.
Thanks

Try crappiedreamer. I know he has some small stuff.

I think the problem is on 1/80 oz there's not much lead to make a collar or hold a wire keeper. Smallest I have seen with a collar is 1/32.

I've found a number of 1/64 providers and have some 1/80, all with number 6 hooks, but lost the 1/80 provider's contact information.

The smallest I have is a 1/64 minnow head with a lead barb I could make a mold with a #8 hook I also have a 1/64 collarless I could put a #8 or #10 in that's the best I can do like shoe said it's gonna be hard to find anything smaller with a lead barb.

I hear you. However, I've found them before. Here's a photo of 3 jigs, all on a number 6 hook, from left to right--1/80, 1/64, and 1/32. The latter was added for comparison. They're out there, just have to find them. Notice how thin the lead is on the 1/80 hook shank, and how small the barb is, but it's there.

The ball heads I got from Bugman in 1/64 and the barbed collared I pour in the same weight do everything I need to do. The 1/80’s I tried in the past were frustrating, and had a #10 hook, which got taken too deep a lot. I stopped using them and only use #8 and bigger now. Hope you find what you need.

I hear you about the deep hookset, that's why I want them in a number 6 (crappie) and 8 (bluegill). In addition, I've fished 1/80 and 1/64 side by side, same plastics (different guys in the same boat, so that's a variable), and one of the weights will outfish the other. I've even followed someone (bow/stern) working an area and the same thing happens. It can matter, has to do with the rate of fall, what they're feeding on, and time in the strike zone.

I dug around and found another small barbed collar jighead for comparison the collarless is a 1/64 from a do it mold with a #8 hook and they both weigh in at .4 grams I can make a small 2 cavity hand pour mold or if you want numbers a 9" spincast mold when I make a silicone mold there is a slight shrinkage so the weight may be a bit lighter.
