IT IS MY WISHES TO COME DOWN TO GRENADA LAKE AND CATCH SOME OF THE FOUR POUND CRAPPIES I HAVE HEARD ABOUT. IS IT A MYTH OR FACT? AS AN OLD NORTH CAROLINA GUIDE, I AM ITCHING AT THE BIT TO COME THERE FOR A FEW DAYS OF FISHING. BUT I HAVE QUESTIONS.
1. ANY DECENTLY PRICED PLACES TO STAY THERE? AS A RELATIVELY FIXED INCOME GUY, I AM SORT OF TIGHT WAD. JUST WANT A PLACE TO LAY MY HEAD, FIND A GOOD RESTAURANT, AND RELAX AFTER A GOOD DAYS FISHING.
2. SOMEONE TO GIVE ME THE HEADS UP ON WHERE TO PUT MY BOAT IN AND WHAT AREA I NEED TO CONCENTRATE ON.

To say Grenada is the home of 4 pound crappie is a stretch, is a 3 pounder possible anytime you hit the water, yes, even in the summer time. I live on the back side of Grenada and live just as close to Enid lake where there was actually a 4 pounder caught last year and Enid also holds the national white crappie record.
If you decide to come this way give me a hollar, be glad to help any way I can and do guide some too.

PS: Last year I personally caught 4 over 3 pounds, this year I don't think I had one over 3, closest was a 2.99 weighed in at the Crappie Masters tourney.
