Subject: Update: Sterile Carp for Diascund Reservoir
Spoke with Dave Morris today of Newport News Waterworks.
They are getting permit to populate all sections of Diascund Reservoir with sterile carp to reduce the hydrilla infestation.
Juvenile carp will be 9” to 10.”
They have a life expectancy of about 8 years
NNW expect to introduce carp in Apr-May timeframe.
