crazy jumping carp

Went to the Missouri sunday. Surface temp is 50 and carp rolling. Those stupid silver carp where having a good rolling & jumping time. 1 jumped about six ft. from boat and when it hit the water it started swimming as fast as it could and we watched it run right into the boat. I swear those things don't have a brain in their head. Have also watched them swim right into logs that are in the water. If you can't see the fish you can watch the wake and then crash right into something. Stupid things jump right out onto the bank. It gave us a good chuckle to watch it hit the boat. Husband also caught a 3 3/4 lb. blue cat. Mine where all babies. He will make a good supper. Was a little chilly yesterday but not the only people on the water.
