Smithville litter patrol..

I haven't been fishing much at all, but got out for a couple hours Friday morning. I was bank fishing up north and there were three catfishermen fishing closeby. They left after awhile and came walking back down 15 minutes later .. I figured they just left something behind .. then I noticed the police officer walking back down with them. The officer then proceeded to make them pick up a few cans, a worm container, etc. they had left behind. I'm pretty sure it was police and not MDC and I have no idea how he knew they left anything behind, but I thought it was pretty darn cool.

By the way, the fishing was terrible.

That goes to show that you never know when someone may be watching. I hope a lesson was learned. Thanks for the post Bill.

:Rofl About time. After all the ranting I've done as well as the hours spent bagging these losers trash up I'm glad to see it happen. It'll only take a couple times doing that and maybe a ticket or two and the word will get out. Pick up your crap!!!

I donot know how much trash i have picked left by bank fisher people way to much. DAM SHAME. If boaters left that much trash we could not run the lake. MY VENT DONE
