Boat Restoration Part 3
Way back in 2009 we bought an old boat from Cane Pole and I started this thread: http://www.crappie.com/crappie/main-...-had-sale.html
Then, in the summer of 2011, we changed up the trailer and it looked like this: http://www.crappie.com/crappie/main-...t-project.html
Now, we're finally getting to the good stuff. Spent today varnishing the lumber to build the deck while Paul installed new taillights, did some welding on the trailer and studied some more on where to mount the trolling motor and deck placement. We're gonna create battery and storage compartments under the new deck. I'm really hoping that by tomorrow night I'll be posting pics of a newly installed and carpeted front deck. It won't be completely finished but at least it will be "comfortably fishable" by the time we head to Reelfoot next Saturday.
It may be taking a lot longer than we planned, but we're getting there. When she's all finished, we'll be looking for suggestions for a good name.

Gonna look good, looking forward to seeing it finished. Y'all are having fun too. I always enjoyed doing the reworks on mine.

Hey CH, how ya been? The boat is a 15 footer with a 48 inch bottom.

Ilike your signature photo, that dog you adopted from the farm sure looks RIGHT AT HOME in that picture. Sure wish I had a garage like that one, drool drool .........
