We are running a winter special in January and February. Fish are biting very good. Don't think just because it is cold out side that the fish aren't biting. Here is a picture of what me and a buddy caught yesterday in less than 2 hours.

Might have to look you up...but I'd have a place to stay.....grew up in Marion...played all my early golf at Lake of Egypt.....Matter of fact, I walked across the dirt when Rend was built before it filled up...lol...
I will give you a discount if you don't need a room.
