I think I am done for the season...

After cleaning out my car for loose change i came across $3.50. So i thought with temps in the upper 60's, wind out of the south, and the sun shining all day. I bought a bag of minnows and went out to Walnut Creek again. Got out there about 3pm, 5 other people were on the dock, but apparently had no luck for the past 2 hours, but i decided to give it shot. Got nothing, no bites no nibbles. Then i remembered something about during the fall and winter fish will sometimes be around rock beds for warmth. So i drove to the other side of the lake and started fishing there. At first there was nothing, but then i started feeling some decent tugs on the line as i retrieved the minnows instead of the just throwing them out there. Unfortunately whatever it was, i couldn't reel them in, they kept coming off the hook.

After 6:30 i gave up on whatever was on the rock beds and went out with my sister and her son on his first Halloween outing.
