i think that snake drank too much of that bud lite you had on the porch ..LOL..it is just a black snake. up here in the mountains we like them. no croakers in smith mountain lake...take care..steve

Shouldn't have any problem with mice around there.

Yep, I like black snakes. They do have a smell to them, but they keep the mice away, ( hopefully baby cats), and I hear they keep other snakes away..
BTW, The cord dangling from grill is FryDaddy!

I could use that snake in my yard to get rid of some of the moles. Where did you catch all the croaker? I'm going to try west point area this Friday.

@ 2 miles below (east) of the Norris bridge on the rapp river. 25' of water -off parrots Island ( Lockies creek, mill creek-bushpark creek area) headboats seemed to be doing good above bridge also.
My dogs will dig up and eat the grubs the "voles" are after... dogs will dig up and kill "voles" , but the snakes don't seem to go after voles . (called Voles here., not sure if there is difference- I call them moles also..)

Dang that's a big snake. Don't like'em, don't care what kind they are. Nice looking dogs, I have a wienerdog as well as well.

Charley A mole makes the tunnels. A vole is a mouse that lives in the tunnels the moles make. Moles are after the grubs and the voles eat roots. They are both a PAIN in the well you know what i mean .

I like your dogs Charlie. We have 4 of them.
