Anyone try Amarugia Lake in Cass County (NW of Archie). Pretty 55 acre (electric only) lake with a good ramp. Hiked around it but didn't have my fishing gear. Conservation Atlas says it has a good population of crappie but wonder about size.

Shortstorie i grew up down that way and remember when the lake was built.They didnt open that lake for 5or6 years after it was stocked to fishing.Have had some old friends fish it and they have had good luck.They say it has alot of good sized slabs in it but you have to weed through the dinks to get at em
