Sound like a qustion for the " TB Crappie hit man" Mark Robinson.
I don't know about March but the lake is packed with crappie fishermen right now.
From all i've read any time is a goooood time. Good luck catch some for me I've been real sick .

March is a great time to get into the spawning crappie on the north end of TB. It's going to be a little diffrent this year with the low water. You won't have to deal with any bushes though. Main creeks off the lake will be a good place to start looking for spawners. Good luck let me know how you do
