What rods do you use for catching bluegills, crappie, and other panfish? I just use a cheap 5'6 rod from Wal-Mart and i've caught loads of bluegills and sunfish.

I have a couple of Berkley Cherrywoods in 5'6'' ultra light that I bought at Walmart.
a $20 one from walmart sorry i dont remember the brand
BnM Sharpshooter. Same size as the comparable size Cherrywood but has more sensitive tip and a little better backbone. I also have a couple Cherrywoods. They are good rods CF
I guess I have been trying to spread my business around to different makers. I use a couple of rods from Bass Pro Shops. One is a MegaCast and the other a MicroLite. Late last year I got a Rapala Xtreme Ultra Light. I haven't used it yet but it feels nice. From Fenwick I have an HMX and an old Eagle that I have used more than any other bream pole over the last twenty-five years. I also have a Berkley Spirit, a Quantum Traditions, a St. Croix Avid, and a Loomis Premier. The last two have the lightest actions. The St. Croix is rated for 2-4 pound line and the Loomis is rated for 1-4 pound line. My wife has one Bass Pro Shops and one Quantum.
I like the cherrywood UL's from Walmart.
I also use a cherrywood 5'6",or a 5' ultralight Ugley Stik. That's my dock shooter rod.
I use a BnM float n fly i got for $20. Seem to catch more catfish and green carp than Gills and Slabs
Ugly stick 5'6" UL single piece is my favorite.
that I got from an old gentleman about 2 years ago...7'0, 2 piece ultralight (Made in China) with extra sensitive 8 inch orange tip section. You can feel them breathe on the lure. I've been told it's a brand sold limitly by Gander Mountain for $29.99 but I haven't been able to find them. I've caught hundreds of bream and sac/crappie with it. If anyone ever heard of them or know where to purchase them let me know. Wonderful inexpensive ultralight rods.
