Where are the crappie around Lake Houston?

I live in Indain Shores Lake Houston and am trying to find out where everyone is catching?? Big Eddie? Where.

I live in the Commons and have fished the lake for 12 years now. This time of year I usually find crappie in the main river channel below the dam or the big eddy. When it warms up some we can find more in the shallow water such as the boat docks of Indian shores or around cypress trees. Hope this helps.

Note:
Have been catching a fish here and there off of my pier out of indian shores for a while now, like 2 a weekend. No big deal. This last saturday I caught a big slab in the same place, but that was the only one. The water at the end of my pier is about 7 foot deep, and I was jigging a minnow. Thanks for the tip.
