nah, you will likely want to get the pole mount lower than the bottom of the boat to swing it 360* which pretty much takes care of that and the outboard. if it did show up, it would be brief and not a big deal. its probably only blocking the top foot of the water column in a narrow beam at best
If you pole mount it and you swing your transducer toward your trolling motor, you will get interference. Like Husker said, it's brief.
Thanks all. I am replacing my home made pole mount with a SEELITE brand mount. I think it's going to be pretty good once I get it adapted to my particular mounting situation.
LS comes with the angled transducer , for pole mount you might want to get the flat one.
