Fishing a berkley dropshot minnow on top like Rapala, didn't land all I hooked but was getting a strike on almost every cast for about 25 min. It don't get much better than that. 14 in the biggst.

Sounds like a fun way to catch em. Was this before dark or after?
It was about 45 mn. befor dark. If your living in Or. now you know what the weather has been like. Who knows, was hailing a half hour befor. Fishing outside Roseburg. Was skipping it across the top then deadfalling it and that was when they would hit. Then they started to hit while it was on top. Gotta have a pretty lite rod to cast vary far. Makes it that much more fun.
