Don I am thinking about trying it in the morning. Won't know for sure til later this evening
I went yesterday for an hour or two. The wind was terrible!!! There were 3 foot rollers out in the middle of the lake. I had my trolling motor on 60% just to hold next to a stump and had to put it on 100% to move forward. It just wasn't worth it. I did catch 4 fish and they were where they were supposed to be! We have a fruit jar this weekend out of Tommy's so I will be there then.
i tried them sat. morning at the causeway and only pick up a few at daylight.
seemed like they had lock jaw.
this afternoon. Guess I'll see where I can get to. Be nice to catch one for a change, been awhile since I put a good one in the boat thanks to me SCOPING OUT the lake and trying to learn new spots
i'm seeing ENE wind.
Was looking at several days and looked at the wrong one. Bout only leaves the causway then AAHHHH, tired of fishing that darn place. Oh well, I'll get some big minners and try it.
