Post-spawn fish(w/t 75*) fish are relating to grass in 9-10 fow well offshore. The key is light jigs(slow fall), light tackle, smallish hook to Feel the THUMP!:fingerdance I like the larger 2" BG SS side-profile over the 1.25" Itty-Bit = It actually helps eliminate Weed-Hassle(not a big fan of weed-guards etc.)
I then bite off the tip to equal around 1.75". The pre-wind fishing was again "Off the Charts"! The bite turned off about 10 when the Wind-slap on my aluminum hull proved to Staple their mouths shut. Great, blessed day with Crappie/Bluegill/Largemouth getting the 'Inside-the-cooler' invite(17).
