Road trip
Since my home lake had came up 8 foot this week alone, we took a trip.
Went to a nameless lake, it appears to have a ton of pressure already. Had never fished this lake before.
WT was 68 in the morning, had our 2 man limit and headed back home at 1:00.
Moral of the story is, it’s fun and sometimes beneficial to get out of your normal pattern.
I did get intel from my CDC friends, thanks men. That’s what makes this such a great site, advice from other members.

That’s great, we took the “Scooby Doo Fishing Machine” out this past week to our home lake and are going to a new place we have never been this week. It’s about a 3 hour drive but really is fun to see new waters and try to figure the fish out. Congratulations

That is a definitely a nice mess of fish I bet you two had a great time. Also, I completely agree with you about CDC being a great site and some of the people are always willing to help others catch crappie - Thanks guys - you know who you are. My wife and I also ventured out to strange waters in Oklahoma yesterday and caught some nice fish on a unnamed lake.
