Hi Vis Line
I just noticed that bass Pros Mr crappie Hi Vis line is no longer made in the USA. I have been spooling reels for 50 plus years. I thought i knew how. I find it almost impossible to spool this Taiwan lind without major kinks. If anyone has a solution for this problem please let me know. Dont tell me to turn my spool over. You must try this line before you can understand.

i know what you mean....i got a line minder because of this and i dont have any line twist now but i also dont use mr.crappie no more i use suffix elite orange

The problem lies specifically in this new line.

Line twist
Foul Hook
Try putting something through the center of the spool. As you fill the spool on your reel it allows the spool of line to unreel itself. I have bought some bad line from Bass Pro before, they took it back after I explained the problem.

What Starvin said, but....
make sure it comes off the top of the spool.

Not a chance. This taiwan line is like barbwire. After I spooled it I had to walk it off the spool and rewind. I dont know if it was because it was cold or what. It is a joke. I understand stren and trylene, cant beat the trylene. this HV is for spiderrigging . It is tough visible and cheap. i have some of the same BP line made in the USA and it is slick as butter. This thread was more to pass on info than get an answer. I will give this new stuff to some unsuspecting sole that I dont Like. maybe jusfish!

You don't want to hear this but i can't resist..
lay the spool on the floor and make sure it comes off in a counter clock wise direction..
and stop buying that cheap line..

You got so many answers 'cause every one is bored up here...cabin fever. I've been off and on the puter all day. I was going to go hunting but decided it's too cold.
