This new boat I got has 2 Helix 7 G2 fish finders on it. The one on the console is a Helix 7 DI GPS G2? That's my first question the manual I down loaded does not show that unit?
The one on the trolling motor is a Helix CHIRP GPS G2. My question here is what the heck is CHIRP?? I done a few searches here and HB forum but I still don't understand what it is
really doing and how to use it.
Not like the 1199 and 777C I had on my old boat.

If your Helix 7 DI GPS model doesn't have CHIRP, then it is the first generation model. The manuals on the Humminbird site are probably only for the G2 model. The below link should be for the basic Helix 7 DI model:
