If it were me, I wouldn't go. I would imagine they will be pulling A LOT of water and the water is going to be very muddy......personally, I've never done well at all when facing either of these conditions. It will probably also be pretty windy which makes things even worse.
I don't think it's necessarily the rain that makes the water muddy, I think it's them pulling the water out that muddys up the water, but that is just my $0.02.
Thanks.thats what I was thinking.ive got to work Saturday so I was really hoping it'd be good conditions tomorrow.
If you enjoy fishing it's never a waste of time there are a lot of days the catching isn't good but the time on the water is
Go behind the boat harbor Damion, it wont be muddy like limestone and flint will be. I will more than likely be there in the morning at daylight. I have caught limits last 2 times I have been behind the harbor. I fish it the same way that I fish limestone.
The fish will still be there, fish bright colors in two to four feet of water where there's no current, slow.
Yesterday John Doe posted a link here in the Alabama forum to an Alabama Outdoors article about fishing in the mud after a rain. This is a good read you can pick up some good pointers. I would definitely go tomorrow if I could get off work, now next week will be a different story I will be taking off and fishing some!
Never a wasted trip ! go and make the best of it.dont know if you don't go !
I'll be there at daylight damion yall are more than welcome to follow me around, I'll be spider rigging in a center console grizzly tracker with a 90hp Nissan on it.
