Raymarine Element 9 hv hyperzision experience anyone?

Well here I am looking into my first ever fish finder, lots of stuff out of stock everywhere. I missed the boat on the big box store sale on garmin echomap but the Raymarine seems comparable. I will only be on small ponds and lakes that aren't deep, no salt water, Im not tech savvy. basically need to see where the fish are some temps, structure and mark a few hotspots. I always like to here from those who actually have used a product before I buy, I will most likely have it till it dies. a buddy of mine (6lbtest) has a Helix 10 and has explained a bunch to me but still learning! thanks guys
