MTCC May and June tournament results

MTCC did not fish our April tournament due to social distancing, but we did fish in May at Tim's Ford and then twice in June, both at Normandy. At the May Tims Ford tourney we didnt have a whole lot of fish taken that day as no team found a full 7 fish limit but Rodney Edwards fishing alone found 6 to win with 5.50 pounds. Taking 2nd place was Dave Odell and his granddaughter with 4 fish weighing 3.23 pounds and 3rd went to Larry Britton & Robert Baker with 2.62 pounds. There was 12 paid teams fishing this event.

MTCC went on to fish Normandy on June 6th to make up the March points tourney we missed at Normandy. Taking 1st was Jamie & Roger Johnson with a nice stringer weighing in at 9.32 pounds...Taking 2nd was Rodney Edwards and Heath Quick with 6.59 pounds and 3rd went to Tracy Farmer with 5.50 pounds. There was 13 boats to fish this event.

MTCC fished Normandy again on June 20th which was our regularly scheduled monthly tourney, a night tourney there. We fished from 6 PM to 1 AM and there was 13 boats present for this event as well. Again, we did not have any team to find a 7 fish stringer but there was some with some nice fish. Winning was Jamie & Roger Johnson with 6 fish weighing 8.59 pounds which would be a nice stringer in 7 so congrats to them for a great weight. Taking 2nd was Terry & Tyler Spray with 4.01 pounds and 3rd went to Mark & Scott Quimby with 5 fish weighing 3.53 pounds.

MTCC goes on to fish Woods Reservoir at night for our July 20th tournament. Good luck to all who make it out.
