The Trip
We got home on Thurs. We took the Natchez Trace from Natchez Ms. up to Nashville, then I-65 to I-69 on up into Michigan. Stayed at the Mi. Welcome center at Coldwater. We had great weather coming home, and only a couple close calls on the highways. We had a lot more-fish in the freezer than we thought. I guess catching 6-8 adds up after time. The high water made the fishing bad. It was getting ready to flood when we left. That was the second time the water had come up. Met some wonderful people down there at Larto. We stayed in the campground at Uncle Buds Cabin. The owners (Stacey & Lance) are about as nice of people as you could ever find. Then there is Pete and Po, doesnt take much to make a party at their house. They're always "cookin" or "smokin" up something. Sherman & Marie had a boat they rented us. They also showed us around the Bayou and where to fish. It was a great time, with great people. I almost forgot Slick & Connie, they have a Little bait shop and store on the lake. But as anyone knows that travels any- It's always good to get home.Attachment 337586Attachment 337587

Glad you made it home safely. Sure was disappointed that I couldn't make it down to Larto. Still stuck here. That 4 days in ICU really took it out of me. I'm still feeling the effects of it.
