Well we finished up the final deployment of the year and now hope to start reaping the rewards soon.
I'll be anxiously awaiting the results to see how some of these do since we ventured out of our comfort zone to try new areas of the lake. I'm hoping for a homerun but after years of putting these out I realize that you will have several strike outs during the process. I'll get some more knowledge and understanding of the lakes either way.
will be watching for your report they look great, how many block did it take to sink one of those?
Those look great! Lots of hard work .i sure hope they produce great for ya!
Usually 4 heavy blocks will do it but sometimes we add a extra 1/2 to 3/4 block in center of bed if we think the lumber has already dried out to much.
Around 110-115# total will sink one in a hurry.
Those look great! They should attract the crappie.

That looks like a lot of work ! but if you have a lake with minimal natural structure I would think they would all produce.
Is most of that fresh cut hardwood ?
We get scrap cut bundles of fresh hardwoods from someone in the lumber industry and then rip them down to appropriate sizes.
The runner boards come already cut to width and height all we have to do is cut to length.
