Lake Eufaula, OK

It's that time again! The Oklahoma Summer "Family" Camp will be on June 3 - 5 (Friday - Sunday). We have selected the Highway 9 Landing Campgrounds on Lake Eufaula because of its central location, swimming area, playground and clean facilities. We are currently working out the details for food functions, seminar sessions and other events.

It is important that if you are planning on camping that you reserve a site immediately!

There are several available sites located in the Campgrounds. These are located on the North side of Highway 9 and are in the general vicinity of each other. We have also reserved the Group Shelter located in the same area. The following is a list of the sites reserved by several of our folks and other available sites. You are encouraged to quickly reserve a site at www.recreation.gov as they are starting to fill up. Each site can have two tents or an RV and 1 tent.

2016 Oklahoma Summer Crappie Camp / Scheduleof Events / June 3 - 5
The Summer "Family" Crappie Camp is scheduled for June 3 - 5 on Lake Eufaula at the Highway 9 Landing Campgrounds. Each site has 110v, 30 amp electrical service and water connections. Each site also has a picnic table, grille and a fire ring. There is a restroom and shower facility nearby. Each RV site is allowed one tent camper, at no extra charge, in addition to the RV or first tent. The normal rental rate is $19.00 per night (verify) and there is a 50% reduction for America the Beautiful Passes (verify).

3.Gaines Creek - South on US 69. Refer Eufaula Lake map for location.

Dave, I'll provide the 6 cases of bottled water and a cooler and ice for them. For Friday my wife will fix potato salad for 20-25 people. We will still need more potato salad. I will also have my medium sized charcoal grill available for Friday. I will cook the hot dogs on it. For Saturday I will provide a pot of pinto beans and corn bread hush puppies (for the beans) to accompany the fish fry. I can be backup on onions - mine are coming along but I'm not sure they will make it by camp. I will be available for clean up trash detail for the entire camp period.

added: There is also fishing available in Longtown Creek and the triangle area directly from the campground boat ramp with a short boat run.

Important!!! Please respond to this thread if you are planning on attending the Summer Camp. It's important that we know how much food and supplies to buy for the Friday and Saturday night cookouts.
There are only 24 more days before Summer Camp. Monday, May 30th is the latest date that we need to know if you plan on attending the Camp. We are buying all of our food and supplies on Tuesday, May 31st so we need to know how many folks will be attending.
Also, look at the previous message regarding food, supplies and tasks that we need and respond if you are able to bring items on the list and/or take on a task. Looking forward to another successful Oklahoma Summer Crappie Camp!
