For anyone who has paid to have their xi5 installed if you don't mind telling what did it run you to have it done.. I'm probably going to do mine but was curious what my local dealer would charge,she said 100.00 an hr. and wouldn't give me a idea of the time involved (seemed high).
New member getting back into boat fishing after 17 yrs w/o one.
Another factor would be how long it would take to get the work done. Friend had his boat tied up for 5 weeks for a install.
Did mine in an hour or so. Pretty easy deal but the wiring was already in.
I did mine in about an hour and half. Wiring was already in place.
Too easy, mounted the motor no problems, wires were already there from previous motor, lucked out, holes matched up
good deal mine has the plug already there for the current motor which is a Minn Kota Power Drive 55#, hopefully the same plug will work..
Afte 2 week I would of been going and getting my boat installed or not.
