New trolling motor
Well my old Evinrude trolling motor finally broke on me. The steering cable went out on it and the parts are not available now. I took my gift cards and birthday money and bought a Motor Guide Pro 75. With a little phone advice from Randy Clark, I got her installed fine. It should be a huge improvement over the old one. I know some people have said the low setting is still too fast. I may bring her down to 12 volt if I have to. I still haven't tried it out. Looking forward to a nice quiet trilling motor.

I currently use a 1996 John/Rude trolling motor... still works fine. I hope you have many years of use with your new MG... I'm sure my days are numbered. Tight Lines---

Looks good, good job on the install. No slime though.....

My brother has that motor on his boat. You can pull a water skier on 5. A big plus when the wind is up but on 1 it is a little hard to troll slow. Great motor. Will work well for you at Wood's on a windy day.
