Smoked Kingfish dip
Some of you asked for my Smoked Kingfish Dip recipe at the fish camp Liars Club so I thought I would share it.
I use the exact same recipe when I have smoked whitefish too.
2 pints of drained smoked Kingfish (King Mackeral)
1 small chopped onion
1 tbsp. of lemon juice
1/4 tsp. of ground pepper
1/4 tsp. of seasoning ( I use Lawreys)
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
1 tsp. of parsley
1 tbsp. of sugar
1 tbsp. of horseradish
1/2 cup of Mayo
1 tsp. of Ranch dressing powder
Mix all ingredients well
Then dip it with your favorite choice of cracker and enjoy!

Just got done making this recipe.
I have a buddy who owns a bait shop/deer processing shop/meat shop. I dropped off some case plastics and H2Ohammer baits for him and his daughter to try. They should be placing an order later this year!
Anyway, he had just gotten in some Atlantic salmon and smoked it so he gave me a few as trade. As many know, I eat Salmon out of the Pacific, or smoked. That is it. Well, I had to try the Atlantic's. They are very similar to Lake Michigan Salmon as they are the same strain. It was good but I knew how to make it awesome.
I had two tweaks to Judy's recipe. I used chopped green onions and whipped cream cheese instead of Mayo. Abby isn't a mayo fan.
It turned out great but I had to add slightly more than the mayo due to thicker consistency. I put it in the fridge to chill and labeled it as fishing bait in the hopes to keep people out of it. I also hid the crackers!
