Oologah 2020
Fish were on brush piles in 20ft of water. Water temp was 58 at 10am. A little windy to say the least. They were choking a Ruben Flores jig. Caught a black nose, don't see many of those on Oolagah. Attachment 372508

Oologah 2020
Started really early Saturday and Monday and finally found some from the bank. About time too....I think my son was loosing interest. This was his first time catching crappieAttachment 373703Attachment 373704.

Water temp this morning, April 28th was 60. Fish were very tight to brush. Saw a few caught from the bank. Only thing I caught from the bank was drum. Caught a few crappie on Ruben Flores jigs from the brush.

Water temp started out at 62 in the main lake but had warmed up to 70 in the creeks by the end if the day. Caught a couple on the bank. Saw a lot of people fishing the bank but not much catching. We caught a few from the brush piles but it was hard to get bit and they were mostly small. Finally found a few on timber in Blue Creek.Attachment 373935

The bite seems to be better in the afternoon and evenings.

We tried Friday evening fishing from the bank but that was when the water was up which might have changed the conditions in our spot. We caught 4 small bluegills and 1 crappie but that was all.
