Still hard to find in this area.
Thank goodness, price don't matter till I'm confident I have enough. May God bless America.
Before all this went south, I went and bought a box of everything I own , knew it was going to be this way .
Wife said what in the world did you do that for ? I said because I know humans and greed and what is about to take place.
If there isn't toilet paper , I am sure Ammo is next up on the there isn't any menu .
Never thought it would go as far south as it has , but in the end it is how humans operate for the most part .
Then we have the Ammo people that said why ramp up production ? If we don't it will run the prices right to the moon , yet more human greed.
Now before you go and say I was part of the problem , lets be clear on I bought one box of everything I own not multiples .
Someday post pandemic prices will stabilize is my guess and possibly lower to a better level , but the bad taste in everyone's mouth will linger for a good long time and hoarding and the etc. that follow it are likely going to be around a while .
Saw thousands and thousands of rounds of ammo at local Rural King. Everybody was walking past it. I stopped and looked it over..lots of 556, AK bullets, 9mm, 40 cal, .22 LR, 7-08, 308, 12 ga buck shot. Prices have come down. No one was at counter buying guns, the last 10 times I was at RK there were several people in line buying guns.. Maybe most everybody has enough now??
Very true. Shooting and reloading is one of my hobbies. As soon as the demand spiked things started to dry up on the component level as well. As I understand it. The only time a manufacturer sales primers is when they have a surplus. That means they are running at full capacity. Unfortunately most manufacturing now are considered just in time meaning there is not much product in the system to absorb fluctuations. Plus you have all of the first time gun buyers needing to secure some ammo. Most people are not prepared when something happens they panic. I grew up in hurricane country. It paid to be prepared with food and ways to prepare it.
No ammo on shelf here
