Checking for tuxedos
Got the call that it's about formal time at couple of favorites so since wife wanted me to stay for eclipse I would run out to LSL and see if formal time was there. Hit smaller lake and not much there but coup k e kids in normal dress.
So headed for NY docks and see what's up. Dropped jigs in usual places and picked up dozen or so dinks. Did ketch 1 keeper but nasty growth on side something had poked or bit it so tossed it after pics. BTW 30 MOH WINDS WERE fierce and cool.
Then bud walked by and said couple kids were hammering them on another dock. I was ketchn consistent so stayed where I was JUST 6 OR 7 INCHES. Then BOOM hit a real good keeper so took pic and in bucket.
Kept ketchn dinks so decided go see what kids had. They had bucket full but small ones and many had their Tuxs on! So it will be crazy good soon there.
They were impressed with my bigun so of course I gave it to them.
Then went to my freezer and took out most bags and took them to my neighbors. Lots of smiles and thanks always makes me happy.
Will be heading up for some serious KABOOM tomorrow. Attachment 485042Attachment 485043Attachment 485044Attachment 485045Attachment 485046

Finding a few bunched at LOZ. Males just starting to color up. Dadgum wind has been horrible on the days I could fish. Will give it another go Thurs - Sun.

Nice crappy fish. So that's what 30 mph hair looks like. Wouldn't know myself, nothing left on top.
