chautauqua lake crappie

Ive fished chautauqua lake for crappie out of lakewood ,next to the marina there from the bank and caught some nice slabs there in april .They came into that canal there by the thousands ,Even caught some muskies in the same canal at times .35 yrs ago

i have never fished it for crappie but heard it used to be good years ago i would like to try it but its about 4 hrs away.

I have caught so many calico they call them in the day .Got some biguns too way back then.Havent fished chautauqua lake in 30 yrs though.
