Boat interior?
Anyone have the coastal interior in their boat? I’ve found a nice Nitro that has the coastal interior and am wondering how quiet it would be. Looks like it would be easy to clean. Thanks for any info.

What is a "coastal" interior? Is it carpeting or a Rhino type lining? Personally, I dislike carpets. Difficult to clean and their looks deteriorate quickly over time. I have had experience with the the paint-on Rhino type bed lining and it was great. I did not find it "noisy" and with that slip resistant finish, it worked out well for me and my guests. A breeze to keep clean and it was very durable. I'd recommend that you stay away from the glue-on vinal laminate type coverings. I've seen some high end boats with this material and you can never keep the edges from coming up! You asked, so.....JMO! :)

It's not a glue on laminate or carpet. Looks like molded plastic with a rough finish. The sales guy just called it coastal interior. I'm going to look at it Sat. Thanks for the info.

My Excel Bay Pro 230 has the spray lining flooring. It’s the 3rd Bay Pro I’ve had with it and love it. Easy to clean and is tough as nails.

It is likely a non skid fiberglass finish like glass bay boats and center console boats have. Some are simple to clean and some a bit tougher. But all are easier than carpet. Star Brite makes a product for non skid that works fantastic. I just use the pressure washer at car washes. Look at the Ranger Z21 comanchee with intercoastal finish.

I purchased a new to me center console that has the non skid fiberglass love it, cool on the feet easy to see hooks, split shot and whatever else boat carpet hides from those bare feet. That being said its white and hard to keep clean, but as stated before if you use the star brite cleaner and wax regularly it's worth the hassle. Also not sure if its standard but mine has a wash down hose in the boat so before I leave the landing at the end of the day I give it a quick spray to get the heavy stuff out. Hope this helps, good luck whatever you decide.
