Or in fog. Too many rely to much on electronics. I know for a fact some of the islands on Martin do not show up. Take your time in these conditions.

:yikesHope no one was hurt. I have had fog roll in early one morning before that was so thick that I had to just anchor down in the middle of the lake and waited for it to clear up.
There was a fisherman killed Sunday morning in a tournament on Lake Cumberland Ky. Boat hit a rock bluff in fog.

Ouch ! Sure hope no one was hurt!
Wow....Hate to see that.
In the early 80s, I was ate up with bass tournaments. I was fishing one on Lake Sinclair in GA with a good friend. We launched shotgun start in heavy fog. We had no idea another club had just launched from a marina just west of us. As we headed toward the Oconee River mouth, we ran straight thru the ROOSTERTAIL of another bass boat we never saw!!! My buddy started to shut his HydraSports down and I screamed keep going or we are going to get killed out here. He kept it on plane and we could hear other boats close by but never saw another. We got up into the Oconee and found a cove where we could clean our drawers and say a prayer for keeping us safe.
Sounds to me that tourney officials need to stop all activity until the fog lifts. No prize money or trophy is worth a life.
