Stealth fighter signals Russia's resolve for power
Hopefully, the man child in charge has put on a bluff, like Reagan, on Putin. However, I don't think the man child has enough intelligence to do so.....;)
let's toss China into the mix too.... testing boundries
China suspends military exchanges with US
You boys sure know how to give a person warm fuzzy feelings.
They probably run the same kinds of headlines over there when we test out a new toy.
... ever heard of a "defensive" military?

Actually no one in the entire military history of the world ever fought a defensive war and won. Study George S. Patton and why he was so committed to the offense. Then go way back and read about Genghis Khan. He was probably the most brilliant general in mans history. Given that his conquests yielded the largest empire in population and land mass and was done with the fewest men. His brilliance was never really noted as the Mongols did not have a written language at the time. All his military exploits were written by his ENEMIES. He never fought defensively by choice. His light calvary was designed for only offense.
On a personal note while in Vietnam I noticed our side giving all the iniative to the other side as far as offense. That one did not work out very well for us.
Robert E. Lee confederate commander reigned supreme in the eastern theater of our Civil War. Even though he was heavily outnumbered and was seriously under supplied. His blunders at Gettysburg convinced him to only fight a defensive struggle after that battle. Although he commanded brilliantly on the defensive side he ultimately lost.
Many battles have been won on the defensive side. But never an entire war.
Problem we had with Vnam was we had presidents that thought they were generals and generals that thought they were politicians.
