We fish a tournament every June on Sardis to raise money for Christmas gifts for under privilege children. It's a pretty nice pay out, but kinda an unwritten rule amongst us participants, that we donate our winnings back to the charity.
I hear ya there.....that's a great way to further support the beneficiary. I wouldn't EXPECT winners to donate back.....that's up to them but if they do it's greatly appreciated.Quote:

Sounds like a great one Chris. Around 75%-80% is usual payout for fundraiser tournaments.

The fund raising tournaments I have put together did a 50/50 split. Most of the time the winners donate their money back to the cause. Brad
