Reelfoot
Never been to reelfoot. I have a Lund v bottom with a 115 and a 10 hp or a Jon boat with 25 or 9.9
is the fishing any good I was thinking of coming down for the holiday weekend
I crappie but would be happy catching anything
also any idea where the crappie would be this time of year. I’m in north Illinois. They are just moving into beds up here just trying to figure how to pack for down south

years ago I was trying to get info on what boat to bring also. I had a 20foot bass boat, very comfortable to fish from and a 16foot John boat no so comfy. I was talking with a guide and he told me to bring the one I liked to fish out of. I again told him I had two boats. He informed me I wouldn't be going any faster than an idle so pick the most comfortable. I took the bass boat and never got on plane and really didn't go much past idle.

If your planning on going to
Reelfoot. I would leave your boat at home & rent there junk.
Just my opinion ! You will never hit more stumps in one place ever.

I aways rent a boat at Reelfoot.....thousands of stumps and shallow...you going to hit quite a few no matter how slow or careful.
