Two short trips same day

Dropped my wife off for PT around 11 this morning and headed over to Lake Kedron boat ramp again .
Got to fish about 45 minutes before heading back to pick her up .
Took my 5’ St Croix Premier ULM paired up with a Shimano Soare XR 500spg , spooled with matching Island blue Daiwa J-braid .
I love this combo . Was a blast with the dinks and handled a fun size bass and shellcracker. Fourteen total .
All caught on my tungsten jigs and shortened Trout Magnet , chartreuse/black and bison .

An hour and a half later after a few errands, I dropped her off at the hairdresser and got to wet a line at lake McIntosh for thirty minutes.
I expected to do better than I did , two shellcrackers , a green sunfish and a dink gill .
Same gear .
I’m lucky to have fishing holes close by .
The best of the catches today .

Two in a day is good to my way of thinking. Almost like living lakefront. Good trips, wish I could get out for those.

You do a good job with your time and finding places to fish.

Used to two trip often , haven’t this year , losing a step maybe :Rofl

Congratulations on two outings in one day that were successful.

Haven't fished twice in a day for awhile. I do fish multiple lakes in a morning all the time. Nice crackers, haven't found many of those this year.

Only one thing could make it better is to get to go three times.

Some nice fish......wish I had a couple of spots close to house.

There’s a creek within fifteen minutes of my house I’m going to have to fish again soon .
I’ve fished it a couple times but it had become a hang out .
Had a run in with a drunk teenager last time I was there .
It’s been a couple years , maybe they’ve cleaned it up .
