Guys,
I am new to the "lite wire" equipment and am curious what everyone prefers?
At this rate, I am at about 8 jigs per fish boated :yikes
Thank you in advance :cheers2

I use 1/32oz & 1/16oz weedless jigheads ... both of which have a #2 Aberdeen hook. I don't normally lose that many jigs in a dozen or more trips. My jigheads are custom made by Grousefly and are the fiber brush style & the Y guard style :

Where can you get them? Thanks.
Use braid!
There is a way to rig a Baby Shad plastic weedless up on a jig that works pretty well.
I’m a combo, what BarryG said I use braid.
Pappy says brush guard, and that’s what I use everyday.
Sent from my iPhone using Crappie.com Fishing mobile app
some stuff really eats jigs , braid helps , weedless jigs as well .
i often use a fat body plastic with very little hook point out of it and put a nibble on to make it weedless
Thank you all for the responses!
Do you guys notice any difference in strike vs hookup % using the brushguards? I tried them several years ago and seemed like my hookup rate went down. May have been in my head though.
I hadn't considered going with braid. Is there such an animal as high-viz braid?
Yes!
Bend the point downward just slightly, sort of like making your own sickle.
