I use tracks all the time. If I'm trolling a cove and want to troll it over and over again (cause I'm catching fish) then after one time around all I have to do is run that track. I lay tracks all the time. If I dont catch fish there then I can always lay another track over that one. I use routes to stay out of the timber when running a lake at night. I also run over those same routes to avoid shallow points too.
Good detail!
I personally don't know anyone but me who uses them. I follow the creek channels that way.

I don’t have FFS but I use tracks and routes all the time! I have a Garmin 93sv and just got the Garmin force kraken that apparently can follow tracks and routes on its own. I use it the same as Gab.

I use a track to follow back on course to the ramp after dark, even on a lake I know! Trolling I use them to go back over a good spot where I caught 'em.
Tracks are good for coming back in the dark or even following a “safe” path to a spot that you go on occasion but not enough to know how to navigate the stumps off the top of your head.
