I’m sure y’all are probably sick of my questions by now, sorry, but I’ve got one more. Just ordered a Gen 1 Helix 9 with SI on closeout. It comes with the compact SI transducer, but Humminbird said they would swap it for the HD transducer I think $85? Is it worth the money to have the HD transducer? What exact benefits does it give other than the I assume better picture? Is it that much better? Thanks in advance.
Yes it's worth it,do the exchange for the HDSI transducer.When I had a 798si had the compact transducer that came with it.I then got Helix 7si did the swap got better images on si & di.now have 2 Helix 10's a SI & Di.networked.
